*This role is Sheffield based and requires 3 days a week in the office

A global leader in Financial Services is looking for a Project Manager/Business Analyst to join their team, working on a long-term global programme of work. The work is within Treasury Back Office operations and experience in this area is preferred.

Business Analysis:

  • Elicit and document detailed business requirements for Treasury Back Office projects
  • Conduct gap analysis and propose solutions to meet business needs
  • Develop functional specifications, process flows, and data models
  • Collaborate with IT and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery

Project Management:

  • Lead Treasury Back Office projects from initiation to closure, adhering to project management best practices
  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocations
  • Proactively identify and mitigate project risks and issues
  • Communicate project status and progress to stakeholders regularly
  • Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and business objectives

Stakeholder Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the Treasury department and other business units
  • Effectively manage stakeholder expectations and address concerns
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration between stakeholders
  • Negotiate and influence project decisions

Book of Work Management:

  • Evaluate project feasibility and align projects with strategic goals
  • Optimise resource utilisation and ensure timely project delivery

Job requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in Treasury Back Office operations or a similar role
  • 5+ years of experience in business analysis and project management
  • Strong understanding of Treasury systems, processes, and regulations
  • Experience with project management methodologies (eg, Agile, Waterfall)
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a relevant field
  • Professional certifications in Treasury, business analysis, or project management (eg, CTP, CBAP, PMP)
  • Experience with data analysis and visualisation tools (eg, SQL, Tableau)
