Senior PowerBI Developer - PowerBI, London Markets, SQL

Senior PowerBI Developer required for a leading London Market Insurer. This is an amazing opportunity to spearhead the buildout of the division's reporting capabilities, showcasing your visualisation skills and creativity to produce a first-rate suite of reports for the business. For this role, you will sit within a technically advanced team with a strong Research & Development focus, working closely across multiple business functions, as well as partnering with the Data Science and Data Engineering teams and providing key analytical insights and improvements to their data models and pipelines for maximising business performance.

Successful applicants will possess excellent PowerBI skills with experience producing a comprehensive suite of reports. You be able to work across many different teams in the business, showing a particularly good grasp of Datamodelling and database concepts. You will also have good experience with data querying and manipulation using SQL. An additional nice to have will be experience of Azure cloud technologies and Databricks.

Responsibilities:

• Creating comprehensive visualisations and reports
• Collaborating with Data Science and Data Engineering teams and providing support for respective pipelines and models
• Maintain and develop dashboards in PowerBI
• Provide solutions to data issues

Requirements:

• Experienced as a BI Developer or similar roles
• DAX, Power Query, SQL
• Strong grasp of Datamodelling and database concepts
• Understanding of data visualisation methodologies
• Experience with Azure & Databricks will be a nice to have
